“Two decades with euro – Portugal´s perspective" was the subject of a speech by the Governor of the Bank of Portugal on Friday, 20 September, at the HNB (Croatian National Bank) at the invitation of his counterpart Boris Vujčić. In a country moving towards Eurozone integration, Governor Carlos Costa was heard very carefully regarding the Portuguese experience, before very interested audience where, among others, the Minister of Economy, Darko Horvat was present.
Marta de Meneses and Dalila Honorato were the Portuguese artists at this year´s Extravagant Bodies Festival in Zagreb, under the theme “Extravagant Love”. Both participated in exhibitions and also gave lectures in the field of bio-art, an innovative theme that explores the connections between art and biology. The first of these artists featured "Anti-Marta" and the second, exposing by the name of Gina Rottweiler, created a photo-novel mural collage "I miss you sleeping all night with you inside my mouth".

With the support of Camões ICL and this Embassy, the 2019 Festival of World Literature was attended by writer Gonçalo M. Tavares. The session, held at the Croatian Music Institute, was attended by its translator, Tanja Tarbuk, and was moderated by critic Neven Svilar. It was an opportunity for the presentation of the Croatian translation of “A Voyage to India”, one of his works published in Croatia confirming him as one of the most widely read Portuguese writers in this country.
